Flushing Meadows Park in Queens, New York was once a lively landmark hosting the World Fair and was the context of popular film productions. The photos below present Flushing Meadows in the Winter of 2016. Flushing Meadows Park is one of the largest parks compared to Prospect Park in Brooklyn and Central Park in Manhattan, yet has the least amount of city maintenance workers.

Eighteen prototypes were proposed to reflect the 18 maintenance workers of Flushing Meadows Park. The idea was to create a network of forms across the site, framing moments that shadow the path of the maintenance workers in order to bring awareness to the neglected history and culture that exists in the park.
